OVERVIEW
This 1968 Pontiac GTO runs on a 400cid V8 paired with a Turbo Hydra-matic three-speed automatic transmission. Originally this GTO was optioned with : Custom A/C . Might have been a dealer add on or aftermarket unit in it now. The compresor doesn’t have a belt and I believe it is due to needed to be serviced.

Not sure why the A/C belt is missing. Most likely because it needs to be serviced. We have not touched the A/C or any components. Inside the car the Fan Blower inside to works.

The Black hose is the A/C hose off the compressor itself. Do not see what you're talking about at the bottom of the motor picture.
