This 1957 Chevrolet 210 2-door wagon has been in the seller's collection for 15 years and has undergone a restoration in the past 12 months. Recent work has included a professional repaint in the original Matador Red and Imperial Ivory over a reupholstered red and white vinyl interior. Power is provided by a rebuilt 454ci V8 paired with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. Additional work performed by the seller includes suspension upgrades and installation of a new Edelbrock carburetor and fuel sending unit. This wagon is now offered with the original California black plate and a clean Utah title in the seller’s name.
A professional respray in two-tone Matador Red and Imperial Ivory (Code 794A) was applied in December 2020. The body was taken down to the bare metal, and a single small dent in the rear quarter was repaired prior to the repaint. As an original California car, brightwork is reported to be corrosion-free. At the rear are the tailgate, bumper guards, dual exhaust, and an aftermarket tow hitch.
15" 5-spoke graphite American Racing wheels with polished outer lips and chrome center caps are wrapped by 205/70 tires. Handling and deceleration are managed by power disc brakes and power steering.
New two-tone red and white vinyl is complemented by a matching dash, carpet, and door panels. A two-spoke steering wheel with chrome horn ring and Chevrolet logo completes the look, along with a replacement headliner.
Instrumentation includes a centrally-mounted 120-mph speedometer, along with gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The 5-digit mechanical odometer shows approximately 200 miles, but true mileage is unknown.
Power is provided by a rebuilt big block 454ci V8 sourced from a 1970s Chevrolet pickup and it is mated with a column-shifted Turbo 350 automatic transmission. A chrome air cleaner and valve covers are present and recent upgrades include a new Edelbrock carburetor and a fuel sending unit.
A recent suspension refurbishment involved the replacement of all four shocks.
The sale includes the car’s original black California license plate.
