This 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu was the recipient of a full professional restoration in 2016 and is powered by a period-correct 327ci V8 paired with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. Blue Metallic over blue vinyl was the scheme of choice, and other additions included new tires and wheels, a fiberglass hood with scoop, and a refurbished suspension. This Chevelle has been in the seller's collection for 14 years and is offered on a clean Alberta registration in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in Cruise Night Blue Metallic paint with a fiberglass stinger hood, new trim, and chrome bumpers front and rear, all completed during the full restoration in 2016. Body mounts were replaced in 2018, and a Magnaflow dual exhaust with polished was also installed. Quad headlamps and a Chevrolet center logo reside in and around the black grille, and "Malibu SS" badges are fitted on the rear quarters.
Aftermarket 15” 5-spoke wheels are mounted to new BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires on all four corners. Replacement suspension components were added at the time of the restoration, including new shocks and springs, as were power steering and power front disc brakes.
The interior is trimmed in blue vinyl with a matching dash, carpet, center console, and rubber floor mats. At the time of restoration, the carpets were replaced, and the bucket seats were reupholstered. A vintage-look head unit is wired to a trunk-mounted amplifier, fixed speakers in the doors, and a pair of portable units currently sitting on the rear bench seat. Window tinting has been added, and heater controls were rebuilt and operate as designed. A new heater core was installed, all lights function with no issue.
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, factory gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure, and a set of aftermarket gauges mounted below the dash. Mileage is shown to be just under 69k miles which is unknown if original.
The 327ci V8 is not original to the vehicle but is period-correct with less than 10k miles since a complete rebuild. Upgrades consist of a forged crank, forged pistons and connecting rods, camel hump heads, Edelbrock performer intake, new Edelbrock 600 cfm carburetor, new MSD HEI ignition, new alternator, regulator, new relay, hydraulic performance camshaft, long tube headers, and Magnaflow dual exhaust. The engine received a complete tuneup with new plugs, wire, and professional tuning. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a Turbo 350 automatic transmission rebuilt less than 10k miles ago.
A Magnaflow dual-exhaust system with chrome tips is fitted, and the underbody was professionally refurbished at the time of the restoration. Suspension upgraders include new 1” lowered front springs, new rear springs, new shocks. The front end was rebuilt during the drivetrain rebuild less than 10,000 miles prior.
The sale includes extensive documentation preserved and organized in a binder, including original sale documentation, Protect-O-Plate plate, and book, original owner's guide, all in incredible condition. Receipts from the prior owner and completed the drivetrain rebuild are included as well as all receipts since purchased in 2007.

TER Holdings in Campbell River rebuilt the engine. Its very responsive, was recently professionally tuned and the car has great spunk.
She have some decent power? If I recall the hearing is 3.08 correct?
@Dayle – Regarding the camelback heads, are they 1.94 or 2.02 valves. Are the rockers stock in the valve train? Was the engine professionally built and if so by which shop in Edmonton? ...
The engine was rebuilt per the previous owner on Vancouver Island. I have the build sheet for the motor but it does not specify. You would need to pull a valve cover and get the casting number if you buy it

Sorry about all the posts. The page didn’t seem to be taking the posting but it certainly did. You’re in Edmonton, I’m from Calgary until a few years back. I’m very interested in your car, can you take a phone call?
