This 2007 Porsche Cayman S coupe has covered 68,344 miles since new and has been upgraded with an Evolution Motorsports (EVOMS) performance engine tune, an Agency Power exhaust system, an IPD competition plenum, and a large throttle body. This Cayman was sold to its first owner in Oak Park, California in December of its model year and has resided on the west coast its entire life. Amenities include a Bose audio system, power-adjustable heated leather seats, and bi-xenon headlamps. Power comes from a mid-mounted 3.4-liter flat-6 paired with a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle. Finished in Black over a Standard Black leather interior, this 987-series Cayman S is now offered with a clean CARFAX report, a Porsche Production Specifications document, two keys, service records, a myKaarma inspection report, a car cover, uninstalled exterior trim, and a clear California title in the seller’s name.
Sharing architecture with the Porsche 987 Boxster roadster, the first Cayman arrived in 2005 as a fastback coupe incorporating styling from classic Porsche models. This Black (A1) 2007 Cayman S has a hood wrapped in clear carbon fiber and ceramic coating on all exterior finishes. Features include bi-xenon headlamps, fog lamps, a rear spoiler, and black-finished Soul Performance Products exhaust tips. The seller states that the car has never been tracked.
Silver-finished aluminum 19-inch Carrera S wheels are wrapped in Michelin tires. The seller notes that the black wheels pictured in the gallery will not come with the vehicle. The myKaarma vehicle inspection report shows that the right rear tire has a leak. Braking is provided by four-wheel anti-lock discs with red-finished Porsche-branded calipers.
The interior is fitted with Black Standard leather heated and power-adjustable leather bucket seats which are matched to the door panels, console, dash, carpeting, and floor mats. Amenities include the Bose High End Sound Package (680), automatic climate control, cruise control, and power convenience options. Carpeted storage is located at the front of the car and in front of and above the engine cover. The seller states that the passenger window has a rattle and estimates that the necessary repairs to fix the issue would cost $1,000.
Instrumentation includes a central 8K-rpm tachometer, a 190-mph speedometer, a gear selection indicator, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer currently shows 68,344 miles. The last mileage figure recorded on the CARFAX report in July of 2020 was 63,380 miles.
The mid-mounted 3.4-liter flat-6 has VarioCam Plus valve timing and was factory rated at 295 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque when new. The powertrain has been upgraded with a performance pulley, an Agency Power exhaust system, an 82mm IPD competition plenum, a large throttle body, an Evolution Motorsports V-flow intake system, and an Evolution Motorsports tune. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle.
The CARFAX report shows no history of damage or accidents. The vehicle passed a California emissions inspection in July 2020. The sale includes a Porsche Production Specifications document, two keys, service records, a myKaarma inspection report, a car cover, and uninstalled exterior trim.
