OVERVIEW
This documented three-owner 1959 Chevrolet Corvette was repainted and equipped with new interior, fuel system, suspension, and brake components during a restoration completed in 2004. It is powered by a 327cid V8 backed by an M20 four-speed manual transmission. Features include a new convertible top and weatherstripping, a media-blasted and painted convertible top frame, the original wheels and wheel covers, and a Wonder Bar AM radio. Finished in Roman Red and Snowcrest White and equipped with a white convertible soft top over a red vinyl interior, this Corvette comes with a Roman Red hardtop; a 283cid V8; four new Coker tires; owner’s, assembly, and service manuals; receipts; and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
In October of 2004, the body was refinished in Roman Red (code 506A), Snowcrest White (code 510A), and a clearcoat. In addition, the hardtop was repainted Roman Red. The seller states that the carpeting, shift boot, red vinyl seat covers, armrests, and passenger-side grab handle were replaced in 2004. Features include manual windows, manual steering, and a floor-mounted manual transmission shifter. The Wonder Bar AM radio is functional but only at a low volume.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 160-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, battery, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 62,002 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
