OVERVIEW
This 1997 Ford F-250 HD SuperCab is a heavy-duty four-wheel-drive pickup that receives power from a newer Lima 7.5-liter V8 mated to a rebuilt E40D four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Equipment includes a UWS toolbox, Toyo tires, remote start, a Sony audio system, a newer radiator, and a refurbished suspension. Finished in Light Saddle and Oxford White over a tan cloth interior, this F-250 is now offered by the selling dealer with service records, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The two-tone Light Saddle (code DZ) and Oxford White (code YZ) exterior has a SuperCab layout with a short bed. Features include chrome bumpers, a newer windshield, side steps, bodyside moldings, aluminum bedside caps, dual fuel tanks, a UWS diamond-plate toolbox, a sliding rear window, a cargo area light, a plastic drop-in bed liner, 4x4 decals, and a hitch receiver. This truck sits factory height and it is unmodified from Factory.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Aluminum 16-inch wheels are wrapped in 295/75 Toyo Open Country A/T II Itires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The six-passenger cabin is fitted with tan cloth power-adjustable Its standard setting-high back bucket seats with center console folds down to an arm rest. , a bench in the back, and matching trim for the door panels, dash, headliner, and carpeting. Features include remote start, power windows, power door locks, power steering, cruise control, air conditioning, a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo, an auxiliary power point, and rubber floor mats.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer, a 6,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The digital odometer reads 164,054 miles, which lines up with the most recent figure of 154,481 miles recorded on the CARFAX report in July 2020.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The replacement Lima 7.5-liter V8 long block has accrued 26,778 miles since installation and comes equipped with a new heavy-duty radiator, a new battery, and an upgraded timing chain. Power is channeled to all four wheels via a column-shifted E40D four-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt 36,790 miles ago. The manually shifted transfer case has two speeds.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The exhaust system has been replaced from the engine rearward. Suspension work has included the replacement of the ball joints, tie rod ends, front wheel bearings, U-joints, and shock absorbers. The power-assisted brakes are newer as well.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The vehicle was never smoked in. Air conditioning works perfectly. The duel gas tanks work as well as the cruise control. All light, signals work. Brakes are in working order and currently there are know issues with the truck. It is maintained regularly.
