Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 1966 Ford Bronco Roadster is one of 4,090 produced and was restored 15-20 years ago. It is powered by a 302cid V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include a Warn winch, 35-inch Goodyear tires, power steering, and power disc brakes. Finished in silver over a gray cloth and black vinyl interior, this Bronco comes from the selling dealer with removed body tags, vehicle documentation, receipts, and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the restoration, the reportedly rust-free body was finished in silver. Features include black tube bumpers, a Warn winch, a fiberglass hood with hood pins, a folding windshield, a fender-mounted antenna, U13 Roadster door inserts, black fender flares, black rocker guards, a black vinyl bikini top, a black vinyl tonneau cover, and blue-dot tail lights. The selling dealer states that some chips and scratches are present in the finish. A walk-around video can be seen below.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of black 15-inch slotted aluminum wheels with Warn manual locking front hubs is wrapped in 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with gray cloth and black vinyl Corbeau front bucket seats with Corbeau harnesses and a coordinating rear-facing Corbeau rear bench seat surrounded by black carpet and a black spray-in floor liner. Features include power steering, a Sidewinder automatic transmission shifter, a floor-mounted transfer case shifter, a black roll bar, and a JVC AM/FM/CD stereo.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A factory combination gauge that includes a 100-mph speedometer and readouts for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage is located ahead of the driver. An additional set of gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are mounted in the center of the dashboard. The odometer reads 16,468 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 302cid V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Engine bay features include finned aluminum valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, a Mallory distributor, a blue Moroso air cleaner housing, and an ARB onboard air compressor.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Bronco is equipped with Dana 44 solid axles and part-time four-wheel drive. Braking is provided by power discs. A dual exhaust system exits behind the rear tires.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The dealer will include removed body tags, vehicle documentation, and receipts as part of the sale.

@Coolidgefire – To Affordable Classics SD: I see you tried to sell this vehicle at another auction for $45k and failed. Is the reserve $45k. The buyers here are adults, and most of us own homes. We are not afraid or Price tag. What is your reserve? I’m tired of wasting my time with you.. the market for classic Broncos is dropping the inflated prices that you’re getting you’re not gonna get for long. Don’t be afraid it’s OK daddy‘s here I got you just give me your reserve price I can handle it. ...

In regards to your comments. The reserve can not be divulged based on Auto Hunters stipulations. This vehicle has never been on another auction site. It has obviously been advertised on selling websites. That is what you do when you sell a vehicle. It looks like you are attempting to sabotage my auction with your comment. Do not appreciate that. If you don't want to continue bidding on this Bronco, then that is up to you. Best with your search.

Can you please tell me what the reserve is? If I’m the highest bidder it will be a pain to continually increase my bid every minute until I reach it. It also gives us bidders a starting point. Thank you
