OVERVIEW
This front-wheel-drive 1974 Cadillac Eldorado convertible has covered 27,540 miles since new and is powered by a 500cid V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include air conditioning, power windows and locks, a tilt and telescoping steering column, a custom center console with a Pioneer AM/FM stereo, power steering, and power front disc brakes. Finished in Dynasty Red and equipped with a power white convertible top over a red leather interior, this Eldorado comes with the removed original radio and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior is reportedly wearing the original factory-applied finish of Dynasty Red (code 72) and is equipped with a power white convertible top. Features include chrome bumpers and grille, white accent stripes, white side impact moldings, dual mirrors, wheel well and rocker trim, color-keyed rear wheel skirts, a power antenna, and accessory curb feelers. The seller states that minor scratches are present on the exterior finish.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of black 15-inch steel wheels with full hubcaps is wrapped in whitewall radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with a front bench seat and a matching rear seat upholstered in red leather surrounded by red door panels and trim. Features include power windows and locks, cruise control, power steering, a tilt and telescoping steering column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a steering wheel-mounted brodie knob, air conditioning, a custom center console-mounted AM/FM Pioneer stereo with a remote, and woodgrain trim.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 100-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 27,540 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 500cid V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. According to the seller, the engine produces 234 horsepower. A tune-up was completed in the summer of 2022.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Cadillac was factory-equipped with an independent front-wheel-drive suspension and a solid rear axle. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. The exhaust system exits at the rear.

The engine is strong and in great condition. When I purchased in January of 2017, it had 25,550 miles on it from the previous 2 owners. I put a little over 2k on it myself. It’s been a Sunday cruiser for me and the person I purchased it from. He was a mechanic in PA who planned on moving to Washington to retire with it but unfortunately passed away before they could do so. I purchased from his wife afterwards. Vehicle has never been in any accidents, no rust, and has been garage kept since before I purchased. This is a pic from when I first purchased.

I believe the ac blows air but I’m not sure if it’s cold or not. Honestly, I don’t recall using the ac much since I’ve owned it, I typically had the top down when driving it.
