OVERVIEW
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro coupe underwent a rotisserie restoration five years ago and has logged 6,387 miles since then. It is powered by a 454cid V8 backed by a TREMEC five-speed manual transmission. Features include bucket seats, a center console, a tilt steering column, a Hurst shifter, an AM/FM radio, power steering, and power front disc brakes. Finished in Cortez Silver and accented with black stripes over a black vinyl and cloth interior, this Camaro comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the 2018 restoration, the exterior was refinished in the factory-correct color of Cortez Silver (code 69). Features include chrome bumpers, black hockey stick-style stripes, an SS hood with chrome trim, a fender-mounted antenna, wheel well and rocker trim, SS emblems, and a matte black taillight panel. A walk-around video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of silver 15-inch steel wheels with dog dish hubcaps is wrapped in F70-15 Goodyear Polyglas bias-ply tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with black vinyl and cloth front bucket seats and a matching rear seat surrounded by black vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual windows, power steering, a tilt steering column, a center console-mounted Hurst manual transmission shifter, an AM/FM radio, and woodgrain accents.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, an AutoMeter 8,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 6,387 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate and reflects the mileage since the restoration was completed. The true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 454cid V8 and backed by a TREMEC five-speed manual transmission. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, a Winters "snowflake" aluminum intake manifold, a Quick Fuel Technology carburetor, high-flow aluminum heads, solid lifters, and American Racing tube exhaust manifolds.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Camaro is equipped with an independent front suspension, a performance driveshaft, and a solid rear drive axle with a 12-bolt differential, Positraction, and 3.70:1 gears. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers exits at the rear. The selling dealer states this car has factory stampings and chalk marks and that all of the suspension components, the front frame stub, and the underbody were restored and refinished during the rotisserie restoration.
