OVERVIEW

This 1959 Chevrolet El Camino is powered by a 454cid V8 backed by a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a hinged tonneau cover, a tilt steering column, an AM/FM radio, power brakes, and an adjustable air suspension. Finished in white with red accents over a reupholstered red vinyl and multicolor cloth interior, this El Camino comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The body is finished in white with red accents. Features include chrome bumpers, a fender-mounted antenna, dual rearview mirrors, a hinged black vinyl tonneau cover, and a wood bed floor-mounted air suspension tank and compressors. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of five-spoke Boyd Coddington wheels is wrapped in radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with a bench seat that has been reupholstered in red vinyl and multicolor cloth, surrounded by red and silver vinyl door panels. Features include manual windows, manual steering, a tilt column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, an AM/FM radio, and new red carpeting.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A set of Dakota Digital analog gauges that includes a 160-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and readouts for the fuel level, oil pressure, temperature, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 18,616 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 454cid V8 and backed by a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and a nine-inch rear end.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The chassis has been modified to accept a four-corner adjustable air suspension system. Braking is provided by power four-wheel drums. A dual exhaust system exits ahead of the rear wheels.
