OVERVIEW
This 1970 Dodge Charger 500 is powered by a reportedly numbers-matching, four-barrel 383cid Magnum V8 backed by a TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission. Features include hideaway headlights, bucket seats, a center console, power steering, and heavy-duty power brakes. Finished in Dark Burnt Orange Metallic and equipped with a white vinyl top over a white vinyl interior, this Charger comes from the selling dealer with vehicle documentation and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The reportedly rust-free body was refinished in the original factory color of Dark Burnt Orange Metallic (code K5) in 2017. Features include chrome bumpers, hideaway headlights, a fender-mounted antenna, wheel opening moldings, and a white vinyl top (code V1W). The factory-installed Basic Radio Group (code A04) came with a manual remote driver-side mirror in addition to power steering, a Music Master Radio, power brakes, and other features.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 14-inch Rallye wheels with gray center caps and bright trim rings is wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with white vinyl bucket seats (code C6XW) and a matching rear seat surrounded by white vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual windows, power steering, a center console (code C16) with an automatic transmission shifter, and an AM radio.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 150-mph speedometer, a Rallye clock, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 28,342 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a reportedly numbers-matching, four-barrel 383cid Magnum V8 (code E63) and backed by a TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission. A safety inspection was recently completed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Charger was factory-equipped with a heavy-duty suspension. Stopping is performed by heavy-duty power drum brakes (code B11). A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.

Gorgeous car. Just curious….I thought that Charger 500’s didn’t have the extended sail fins at the rear window. Distinguishing 500’s from a regular Charger was that rear window was flush with the roof line.
