29k-Mile 1990 Jaguar XJ6

This 1990 Jaguar XJ6 Vanden Plas is a 29k-mile, fully-original sedan in garage-kept condition with wire wheels, burlwood tray tables, automatic climate control.  This XJ6 is finished in light blue-grey metallic and is powered by a 4.0-liter straight-6 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission.  Located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, this XJ6 is now offered with a clean CARFAX report on a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name. 

The car is painted light blue-gray metallic and features black bumpers front and rear, along with chrome accents for the grille, hood ornament, window surrounds, and side-view mirrors.  The car is equipped with dual polished exhaust outlets at the rear, and it has a power-operated sunroof.  There are scripted Vanden Plas logos on either front fender, as well as on the rear of the vehicle. 

Factory 15” chrome wire wheels are equipped, and the car features disc brakes. 

The interior is fitted with gray carpeting and power-operated gray leather bucket seats. The interior is trimmed in glossy burlwood veneer accents, including drop-down tray tables for rear-seat passengers.  A center console-mounted between the front seat doubles as an armrest and storage compartment, and the rear seat has a fold-down armrest as well.  Additional features include automatic climate control, cruise control, and a factory AM/FM/cassette audio system. 

Instrumentation is set within a woodgrain bezel and includes a 160-mph speedometer and 7k-rpm tachometer, along with accompanying gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage.  The digital odometer reads 29k miles, which are original to the vehicle.

The 4.2-liter inline-6 is original to the vehicle and was factory-rated at 223 hp and 278 lb-ft of torque when new.  Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission and a console-mounted, gated shift lever.
