OVERVIEW
This custom 1956 Chevrolet 3200 restomod build has logged just 616 miles since completion. It is powered by a new 383cid stroker V8 crate motor backed by a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. Features include a wood bed floor, LED lighting, power rack-and-pinion steering, power windows, a Vintage Air climate control system, a tilt steering column, a vintage-look AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo, a Total Cost Involved (TCI) chassis, adjustable coilovers, and Wilwood power disc brakes. Finished in white over a red and white leather interior, this Chevrolet pickup comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the build process, the body was finished in white. Features include chrome bumpers, shaved emblems, LED halo-style headlights, dual rearview mirrors, new rubber seals and gaskets, tinted glass, a big rear window, a short pickup box, an oak wood bed floor with stainless steel strips, and LED taillights. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 18-inch front and 20-inch rear slotted aluminum wheels with red powder-coated inserts is wrapped in new Nitto radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cab is furnished with a bench seat upholstered in red leather with white diamond-quilted leather inserts surrounded by a matching headliner and door panels. Features include power windows, power rack-and-pinion steering, electric windshield wipers, a tilt steering column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a vintage-look AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo, a Vintage Air climate control system, and a custom center console with cup holders.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A set of AutoMeter gauges that includes a 120-mph speedometer and readouts for the fuel level, water temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 616 miles, which the selling dealer reports is the mileage accrued since the build was completed. The true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a new 383cid stroker V8 crate engine and backed by a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with a B&M torque converter lock-up control. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, and a red batwing air filter housing. Additional features include tube exhaust headers, a serpentine belt engine accessory drive system, polished engine accessories, an MSD 6AL electronic ignition system, an electric fan and thermostat, an aluminum radiator, and an Optima Redtop battery.
UNDERCARRIAGE
As part of the build process, the original chassis was replaced with a white powder-coated TCI chassis that includes an independent front suspension with chrome tubular control arms and coilovers, and a Ford nine-inch rear axle mounted with a polished four-link setup and coilovers. Braking is provided by power Wilwood discs. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear. The selling dealer reports that a stainless steel fuel tank and stainless braided lines, fittings, and hardware have been installed.
