ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The Northstar 4.6-liter V8 was rated at 320 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted Hydra-Matic five-speed automatic transmission. A safety inspection has been performed by the dealer.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The four-wheel independent suspension uses Magnetic Ride Control. Handling is assisted by Stabilitrak traction control. Stopping power comes from power-assisted anti-lock disc brakes.
