This 1976 Triumph TR6 is a final-year example showing 9,028 miles from new. Finished in Pimento Red over black, the car was purchased by the seller from the original owner's nephew in June 2016 with 8,824 miles. A refurbishment was carried out in the spring of 2018, which included paint work, a suspension rebuild, tune-up of the 2.5-liter straight-six, a brake overhaul, interior and undercarriage cleaning, and installation of a new soft top. The car has been stored covered on a lift in a climate-controlled garage since the refurbishment. This TR6 retains its original Michelin Redline tires and is offered with a bill of sale, documentation of the 2018 work, two tops, and a clean Iowa title in the seller's name.
The original owner drove the car for 6-8 years and then garaged it for the next 30-plus. Imperfections in the factory Pimento Red finish were addressed before a professional buff and polish in 2018, and the car has been covered and garaged since. A new soft top was acquired and installed, and both it and the original hard top will go with the car.
Factory 16" slotted wheels are wrapped in the original Michelin Redline tubed tires. Curb rash is noted on the rear passenger side trim ring but a new set will come with the car.
The entire interior was removed at the time of the refurbishment and subsequently professionally cleaned and reinstalled. Black vinyl covers the seats and color-matching carpet, soft top boot, and dash with wood grain fascia are fitted.
Interior amenities include heat, defrost, and the factory 3-spoke steering wheel and AM radio. The 140-mph speedometer houses the five-digit odometer showing a true 9,028 miles.
Power comes from the original 2.5-liter straight-six paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox, and the factory-installed hour meter reads 710 hours of operation from new. The engine was tuned and all hoses, belts, and fluids were replaced in 2018.
The suspension and brakes were rebuilt and overhauled, respectively, and the rear end and drive shaft were removed prior to a thorough cleaning of the underside. Multiple gallery photos show the condition of the underbelly.
The bill of sale from the seller's purchase, refurbishment invoices totaling over $25k, and a new trim ring will go with the car.

@BillS – I am sorry but the results were communicated to me verbally along with other diagnostic information and were not listed on the invoice from the shop. I can tell you that the compression was well within the range of acceptability and there were no errant or erratic values. If there had been, I certainly would not have invested $25,000 dollars on other attributes of the car with an engine that was suspect. The work was done three years ago . My memory simply is not that good. Thank You for your interest. ...
Thank you for the response.

@PakNheat380 – Since a compression test was done please post the results. Should be somewhere between 140 - 180 and not more than 10% difference between the low & high cylinder. I’d like to see that before I place my bid. ...
