OVERVIEW
This 1988 Ford Mustang GT convertible receives power from a High-Output 5.0-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes fog lamps, a luggage rack, BFGoodrich tires, power windows and locks, air conditioning, a Bluetooth stereo, and the Handling Suspension Package. Finished in Oxford White and equipped with a power-retractable white top over a Beige leather interior, this Fox Body Mustang is now offered with a convertible boot, service records, an accident-free CARFAX report, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The Oxford White exterior is accented with red treatment for the perimeter moldings and lettering. Features include fog lamps, underbody spoilers, a power-retractable white soft top, louvered taillights, and a luggage rack with an integrated high-mounted stop lamp.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Black 15-inch aluminum wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior is optioned with Beige leather bucket seats up front, a bench in the rear, and matching upholstery fitted to the door panels. The center console, dash, carpeting, and embroidered floor mats are trimmed in Scarlet Red. Features tinted power windows, power locks, power steering, a tilt steering column, cruise control, a Bluetooth-compatible radio, air conditioning, and dual visor mirrors.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The 1989-1993 Mustang GT instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 100,000 miles, which the seller states is the true mileage. According to the CARFAX report, Not Actual Mileage and Exceeds Mechanical Limits titles were first issued in 1991.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The fuel-injected High-Output 5.0-liter V8 was rated at 225 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque when new. A tune-up was performed in October 2023. Power is directed to the rear wheels via a console-shifted four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Mustang came from the factory with the Handling Suspension Package, which consisted of progressive-rate springs and front and rear stabilizer bars. Stopping is performed by power front disc brakes and rear drums.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The CARFAX report begins in November 1987 and shows accident-free ownership in Texas and Oklahoma. Service records and a red vinyl convertible boot will come with the car.

Hey Charlie, good morning. There is a reserve on this vehicle. You sound pretty serious. What’s your offer?

@astout1978 – Bad pics? Also, I don’t understand your grammar. Are you saying you’re near to this location? If you are come, take a personal look at the car. But that is the car. It’s in great condition. Thanks. ...
Thanks for the response. I was in a shi* mood and am frustrated in general with the online buying and being reliant on pictures in general. So, overall, I looked again and think you did a great job in comparison with your pictures. What's the story with the CarFax showing inaccurate mileage and exceeded power (something like it, haven't researched what it is, never seen it)? I'm not close enough to come look within 2 days but close enough to buy and drive home / not have to pay for shipping and deal with it which is a real pain in my opinion. I'll be in touch, if there is a reserve, please let me know as well, not necessarily what it is, but that there is one as I've never conducted biz on this site. Thanks
@pwestman11 – Yo, will you wash it and mark with an appropriate pen where there are dents or creases? I know the photographs are hard to take, but - washing it really helps and pointing out where there is a small scratch up to a crease etc. Please. Interested and fair and near you and cash and ... And is that what the 5.0 should look like or did you intentionally take a bad picture on a bad day after bad months and months and months, so you could repost with a good one? (I kid,) - (Kinda) ...
