OVERVIEW
This two-wheel-drive 1976 GMC C2500 Sierra Grande Wide-Side pickup was overhauled earlier this year and received new paint, chrome trim, seals, and cooling system and suspension parts. It is powered by a rebuilt 350cid V8 mated to a rebuilt three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes dual fuel tanks, a dual exhaust system, a new Sterling steering wheel, power steering, woodgrain trim, a new instrument panel with new gauges, new leaf springs, and replacement power-assisted brakes. Finished in orange over a black vinyl interior, this third-generation C/K-series truck is now offered with a clear title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The orange exterior is said to be rust-free and was given new paint and seals within the past year under the seller’s ownership. Features include new chrome brightwork, wheel arch moldings, a new rear windshield with a sliding window, new dual fuel tanks, a Delta diamond-plate aluminum toolbox, a dual exhaust system, and a hitch receiver.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
White-painted steel 16-inch wheels with GMC-branded center caps are wrapped in a mixed set of 235/85 Nexen and Ironman tires that were installed in 2023.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior of the cab has a black vinyl bench seat and matching trim components for the door panels, padded dash, lap belts, sun visors, and carpeting. Features include tinted manual-crank windows, a new Sterling steering wheel, woodgrain trim, a selector switch for the dual tanks, a floor-mounted console, and GMC-branded rubber floor mats.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The new instrument panel houses new gauges that include a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary readouts for the fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 42,248 miles, which the seller asserts is a correct reading.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The rebuilt 350cid V8 received a tune-up in recent weeks and comes equipped with a radiator, heater core, and water pump that were replaced in 2023. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a rebuilt three-speed automatic transmission and a rebuilt differential.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The power-assisted brakes as well as the universal joints, leaf springs, and rear shock absorbers were replaced within the last year. In addition, the steering box was rebuilt.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
This GMC was previously featured on AutoHunter, but is now being re-listed at a lower reserve price. The seller has provided a video showing the engine running, an exterior walk-around, and an overview of the interior.

Where is truck located?
BID: $8,000
Yes it’s a great truck, I wouldn’t be selling it if my wife wasn’t complaining that her car is left outside in the rain while this “orange beauty” is inside living comfortable and warm!! Also, yes your right it’s a “Rebuilt 350”, I’ll call them to change that. Thanks
Nice truck. There has never been a chevy 312 v8. it has to be a 350v8. Only 250 ci I6, 350 ci v8 or the big block 454 ci v8 was offered in 1976
BID: $6,700
