OVERVIEW
This restored 1970 Pontiac GTO was built in the first week of December at the General Motors plant in Pontiac, Michigan. Features include a rear wing, Rally II wheels with redline tires, front bucket seats, power steering, and air conditioning. Power from the 400cid V8 is transferred to the road through a Muncie four-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip rear differential. Finished in Atoll Blue with a white vinyl top over a Dark Blue vinyl interior, this GTO comes with a clear title in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The factory-correct Atoll Blue body is topped with a white vinyl roof (code 28 A) and equipped with a twin-scoop hood, bright wheel arch and rocker trim, a body-color wing, and a chrome rear bumper.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of Rally II wheels with red center caps and redline tires connect the car to the road.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The Dark Blue vinyl (code 250) interior features front bucket seats with headrests, a center console, a rear bench seat with lap belts, carpeting, rubber floor mats, and pleated door panel inserts. Metallic and simulated woodgrain trim highlights the dashboard. Other features include air conditioning, power steering, manual windows, and a radio.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
Vehicle information is displayed on a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer that was added in 2023, and a multi-information gauge with a generator warning light and readouts for the fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer currently shows 80,051 miles. According to the seller, the vehicle was driven less than 200 miles in 2023.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
According to the seller, the 350-horsepower 400cid V8 is equipped with a new all-altitude four-barrel carburetor. The engine is connected to a Muncie four-speed manual gearbox.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping is performed by manual brakes. A new fuel tank has been installed.

This GTO was previously sold on AutoHunter in August 2022.

@Hanginon – What is the brand name of the carburetor on it? Do you have the original Quadrajet carburetor? ...
Hello, The new carburetor is a Holley Sniper EFI. This carburetor will work in any climate and or altitude. I live at 6500 feet above sea level and the carburetor would not work properly at that altitude. I have the original carburetor and gas tank that will come wwith vehicle purchase. The vehicle also will come with all manuals and receipts on what was done and spent on the ground up restoration. Thanks,
How does the vehicle run? Is there any work that needs to be done with its performance?
Just like to say this is one beautiful 1970 GTO this is my favorite car that I’ve ever owned. Pontiac did a beautiful job on the front end the only year with this front end. I bought a original 70 GTO judge from the original owners in 1974 for $800. Now that I’m on Social Security, this car is out of my reach would love it just can’t afford it. Beautiful car brought back old memories. Thank you.
