OVERVIEW
This one-family-owned 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Sport Coupe has covered 35,927 miles since new and is powered by its reportedly original Turbo-Fire 327cid V8 backed by a three-speed manual transmission. Features include power steering, bucket seats, a center console, Mr. Gasket traction bars, and rear air shocks. Finished in Granada Gold over a black vinyl interior, this Camaro comes from the selling dealer on behalf of the original owner's widow with a rebuilt Quadrajet carburetor, removed original parts, additional components, the original owner’s manual, the Protect-O-Plate, initial purchase documentation, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The all-original panels are finished in the factory-applied Granada Gold (code G) paint, according to the selling dealer. Features include chrome bumpers with bumper guards, T3 headlights with chrome shields, black accent stripes, wheel opening and rocker moldings, and a fender-mounted antenna. A walk-around video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 14-inch Cragar Keystone Klassic five-spoke wheels is wrapped in E70-14 Goodyear and Firestone redline bias-ply tires. The selling dealer states that the wheels and tires were installed a few weeks after the initial vehicle purchase.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with standard black vinyl front bucket seats (code 760-Z) and a matching rear seat surrounded by black vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual windows, power steering, a center console-mounted manual transmission shifter, a Delco AM radio with added rear speakers, and woodgrain accents. The trunk contains the original spare tire, lug nut wrench, and jack.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and a column-mounted 9,000-rpm tachometer are located ahead of the driver. A set of three Stewart Warner gauges for the amperage, temperature, and oil pressure are mounted under the ashtray. The odometer reads 35,927 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be original miles.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by the reportedly original Turbo-Fire 327cid V8 and backed by a three-speed manual transmission. Engine bay features include finned aluminum valve covers, double-hump heads, a rebuilt Carter four-barrel carburetor, and a chrome air cleaner housing. A new battery and brake master cylinder have been installed and an oil change has been performed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Camaro was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Rear air shocks and Mr. Gasket traction bars have been installed. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear through Chevrolet bowtie-shaped tips.
