Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible is powered by a Jetfire Rocket 330cid V8 backed by a Jetaway two-speed automatic transmission, both of which are original to the car, according to the selling dealer. Features include a factory tilt steering column, an Oldsmobile AM/FM radio, power steering, and power brakes. Finished in Spanish Red and equipped with a newer power white convertible top over a red vinyl interior, this Cutlass comes from the selling dealer with the original owner’s manual, the Protect-O-Plate, a red convertible top boot, fender covers, and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

Under previous ownership, the reportedly rust-free body was refinished in the original color of Spanish Red (code R) and equipped with a power white vinyl convertible top (code 1), which was installed two years ago. Features include chrome bumpers, a fender-mounted antenna, a driver-side rearview mirror, wheel well and lower-body moldings, and trunk trim. The selling dealer states that the paint finish is show quality.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 14-inch chrome wheels is wrapped in 225/70R14 Mastercraft Avenger G/T radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with a red vinyl front bench seat and a matching rear seat surrounded by red vinyl door panels and trim (code 965-A). Features include manual windows, power steering, a tilt steering column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, and an AM/FM radio.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 120-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and warning lights are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 68,169 miles, which the selling dealer believes to be accurate.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The selling dealer states the Jetfire Rocket 330cid V8 and Jetaway two-speed automatic transmission are original to the car. According to the engine tag, output when new was 320 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Cutlass was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power four-wheel drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The dealer will include the original owner’s manual, the Protect-O-Plate, a red convertible top boot, and fender covers as part of the sale.
