OVERVIEW
This 2003 Chevrolet Corvette 50th Anniversary convertible has been driven 58,138 total miles and is powered by an LS1 5.7-liter V8 mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes fog lamps, Michelin tires, a Bose audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and Magnetic Selective Ride Control. Finished in 50th Anniversary Red and equipped with a newer Shale retractable top over a Shale leather interior, this C5 Corvette is now offered by the selling dealer with a CARFAX report and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The 50th Anniversary Red exterior features pop-up headlights, fog lamps, bodyside moldings, special badging, a glass rear window with an electric defogger, a power antenna, and quad exhaust outlets. The Shale manual convertible top was replaced in 2016. According to the selling dealer, a one-inch scratch in the driver door has been touched up but is still visible.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Champagne 17-inch front and 18-inch rear five-spoke aluminum wheels are wrapped in 245/45 and 275/40 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires, respectively.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The two-seat cockpit is trimmed with power-adjustable Shale leather bucket seats and 50th Anniversary embroidery, matched to the door panels, dash, center console, carpeting, and Corvette-branded floor mats. Features include power windows, power door locks, power steering, a steering column with power telescoping and manual tilt functions, cruise control, a head-up display, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a Bose sound system with a trunk-mounted 12-disc changer. One of the seams in the driver seat is beginning to separate, according to the selling dealer.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 200-mph speedometer, a 7,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The digital odometer reads 58,138 miles. The most recent mileage figure recorded on the CARFAX report in 2019 was 55,818 miles.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The LS1 5.7-liter V8 was rated at 350 horsepower when new. The oil was last changed two years ago. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping is provided by ventilated anti-lock disc brakes. Handling is assisted via a traction control system as well as Magnetic Selective Ride Control with Real Time Damping.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The CARFAX report begins in 2003 and shows ownership in New Jersey and Texas. Damage to the front of the vehicle was reported in August 2013 and repaired the following month. An emissions inspection was performed in 2019.

Beautiful car, I’m not quite in the market just now. If I were, I’d go for this one. Good luck
How in the heck does the mileage DECREASE by 700 miles from the reading on the 2019 Carfax is what id like to know?

You would not be the first person to think so! No, I do not have the original window sticker.....
Wow you would think they would have been offered. Do you have the window sticker?
@MRMEMO – Are the seats heated or cooled? Is the window sticker included? ...
Heated or cooled seats were not an option on this vehicle.
@Mhg32 – What was damaged in the front end? And why wasn’t the oil changed in the last 2 years?? ...
Apparently there was some small damage to the lower faring on the front of the car prior to me purchasing it. Nothing is evident at this time. Unfortunely I can't tell you much more than that. I have probably driven the car less than 1500 miles in the last 2 years, thus no need for an additional oil change. I split my time between NJ and MD. That is the primary reason for me selling it. It needs to go to someone who can enjoy driving it on a regular basis.
What was damaged in the front end? And why wasn’t the oil changed in the last 2 years??
