Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This restored 1971 Chevrolet Nova coupe is powered by a 350cid V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a cowl-induction hood, power steering, an AM/FM/cassette radio, and power front disc brakes. Finished in Apple Green with black stripes over a black vinyl and charcoal gray cloth interior, this Nova comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

Originally finished in Mulsanne Blue (code 26), the reportedly rust-free body was repainted Apple Green with black stripes under previous ownership. Features include chrome bumpers, a cowl-induction hood, and a driver-side rearview mirror. The selling dealer states that small marks are present on the paint, which can be seen in the gallery to the right.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of chrome 15-inch Cragar S/S five-spoke wheels is wrapped in 215/70 front and 275/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with a black vinyl and charcoal gray cloth bench seat and a matching rear seat surrounded by black vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual windows, power steering, a steering column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, and an AM/FM/cassette radio.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge are mounted ahead of the driver. Additional gauges for the water temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located under the dashboard. The odometer reads 32,635 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a non-original 350cid V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, and a chrome air cleaner housing. This Nova was originally equipped with air conditioning, but the refrigerant lines and compressor have been removed. The selling dealer states that a new COMP Cams High Energy 260H hydraulic flat-tappet camshaft was installed in July 2023 and the fluids were checked in January 2024.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Nova was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear. The seller states that traction bars have been installed.

@Route61 – That sounds like a question for autohunter maybe reach out to them directly? I am unsure on how things are handled on the bidder side. ...

Auto hunter uses your credit card to take their buyers fee for the purchase.. then they supply the buyer and seller each others info to work out the exchange of funds for the actual purchase and the title for the car.
