1972 Chevrolet C10 Pickup

OVERVIEW

This restored two-wheel-drive 1972 Chevrolet C10 pickup has been upgraded with a 1968 Chevrolet C10 front sheet metal conversion, 20-inch custom wheels, and a lowered suspension. It is powered by a 235cid I6 backed by an automatic transmission. Features include amber roof clearance lights, a tilt steering column, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and power front disc brakes. Finished in Cranberry Red over a black vinyl interior, this C10 comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the restoration, the reportedly rust-free body was finished in Cranberry Red. Features include chrome bumpers, a 1968 Chevrolet C10 front sheet metal conversion, dual rearview mirrors, roof clearance lights, a short Fleetside pickup box, a black bed liner, and tailgate trim.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 20-inch five-spoke aluminum wheels is wrapped in radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with a black vinyl bench seat surrounded by black vinyl door panels, a pleated black headliner insert. and Cranberry Red trim. Features include manual windows, power steering, a tilt steering column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, and a Concord AM/FM/cassette stereo. 

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 100-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and battery are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 5,088 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 235cid I6 and backed by an automatic transmission. A safety inspection was recently completed.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Chevrolet was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. The suspension has been lowered. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. The dual exhaust system exits behind the rear tires.
