OVERVIEW
This 1968 Chevrolet Corvette convertible receives power from a 350cid small-block V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes newer brightwork, Rally wheels, an upgraded sound system, and four-wheel disc brakes. Finished in red and equipped with a black canvas retractable top over a black vinyl interior, this C3 Corvette is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior was recently repainted red under prior ownership and features newer chrome bumpers, retractable headlights, vented front fenders, rocker moldings, a driver-side mirror, and dual exhaust outlets.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Steel 15-inch Rally wheels with polished trim rings and center caps are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The two-passenger cockpit is fitted with black vinyl bucket seats, matched to the door panels, dash, center console, and carpeting. Features include manual-crank windows, manual steering, a heater, and a custom AM/FM audio system linked to a trunk-mounted subwoofer.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges in the center stack for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 24,830 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power from the 350cid V8 is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted three-speed automatic transmission. A safety inspection was performed by the selling dealer.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping power comes from manual four-wheel disc brakes.
