according to the c2 registry this 1966 corvette was built on JULY 8th 1966 07 08 66
the frame cross member has a pretty good size dent on passengers side on the picture you posted........ drivers side is damage also but not aS BAD AS THE PASSENGERS SIDE WHEN YOU MAGNIFY THE PICTURE YOU POSTED IT SHOWS IT HIT SOMETHING HARD TO DENT THE CROSSMEMBER OF THE FRAME LIKE THAT
Drivers door is sticking way out from the rear quarter panel very visible on your picture, plus the convertible top flip panel fits poorly on driver side on the top near the top of the door on your picture
reserve is being lowered!! happy bidding
@ riverfront Its been in an accident 100 percent sure in the nose The hood is sticking up on the right front that hood suppose to be even to the top panel ,also the headlights are squared off on the corners they are suppose to be rounded,Also it has a 1963/1964 left front lower frt fender on it ,if you look at the corner in the grille on drivers side behind the bumper you will see the bump on the fiberglass front lower corner fender thats for a 63 /64 grille which is different from a 65 /66 /67 Most of these c2 cars have had a boof or two hell they are old cars and stuff happens
@Riverfront – to my knowledge the tank stickers didn't begin until production in '67 ...
I guess I'm not too old to learn something. It looks as if 67 was the first year for the tank sticker.
@AriiTane – Are the chassis numbers matching the engine number ??? In other words, is the engine in this car the ORIGINAL engine that has been restored (this matching number vehicle) ??? ...
we did not not paint the vehicle, we have no knowledge of it being painted, we can only assume since its documented to have only have 22k miles that it could very well be original paint
@MRMEMO – Is the option sticker still on the gas tank? ...
to my knowledge the tank stickers didn't begin until production in '67
