OVERVIEW
This 1980 Chevrolet Corvette was in the same family for 20 years and is powered by a 350cid V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include tinted glass removable roof panels, power steering, air conditioning, a Pioneer AM/FM/cassette stereo, power windows and locks, and power disc brakes. Finished in Metallic Green over a Doeskin leather interior, this C3 Corvette comes from the selling dealer with a pair of body-color removable roof panels and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
Originally finished in Classic White (code 10), the body was repainted Metallic Green under previous ownership. Features include color-keyed bumpers, pop-up headlights, body-color rearview mirror housings with manual mirror remotes, tinted glass removable roof panels, heated rear glass, a power rear antenna, a rear spoiler, and black slotted taillight covers. The selling dealer states that a few scratches are present in the finish.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch Corvette aluminum wheels is wrapped in 255/60R15 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with manually adjustable Doeskin leather (code 592) bucket seats surrounded by color-coordinated door panels and trim. Features include power windows and locks, a tilt and telescopic steering column, a center console-mounted manual transmission shifter, air conditioning, power steering, and a Pioneer AM/FM/cassette stereo.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 85-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 36,998 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 350cid V8 and backed by a four-speed manual transmission, both of which are original to the car, according to the selling dealer. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, an electronic ignition, and a chrome air cleaner housing. The selling dealer states that the fluids were serviced in 2023.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Corvette was factory-equipped with a four-wheel independent suspension and a rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power disc brakes. The exhaust system exits at the rear through dual outlets.

Thanks for the question and its very valid. I personally owned a 1980 in 1980 and I have owned three Vettes of the same body style (With T-Tops). The only one that did not leak was my 1980 and because we have not taken the car out in the rain, we cannot tell you definitively. The prior owners daughter believes that they do not leak.
