OVERVIEW
This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-Door Sedan was repainted under previous ownership and has been with the seller since 2008. It is powered by a 235cid I6 that breathes through a new exhaust system that was installed in 2010 and sends power to the rear wheels through a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Features include chrome bumpers, whitewall tires, an AM radio, and manual steering and brakes. Finished in Neptune Green and Off White over a two-tone green cloth and vinyl interior, this Bel Air comes with a paint slip, a 1955 Chevrolet price list, an owner's manual, a factory AM radio with a speaker, and a clear title in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
Prior to the seller purchasing this car in 2008, the body was repainted Neptune Green (included in trim code 613) and PPG Off White. Features include chrome bumpers with guards, a hood ornament, bright trim, a driver-side mirror, and tinted glass. The exhaust system installed in 2010 exits at the rear through a single outlet. The seller notes rust spots in front of the rear wheels, which can be seen in the gallery to the right.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
The 15-inch steel wheels are wrapped in 215/75 Coker Classic whitewall tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The front and rear bench seats are covered in two-tone green cloth and vinyl and surrounded by two-tone green door panels and trim. According to the seller, the door handles need to be repaired or replaced. Features include manual locks, manual windows, manual steering, an AM radio, metallic trim, a clock, and black Chevrolet-branded floor mats. The trunk is lined with black rubber and contains a spare wheel and tire.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
Vehicle information is displayed on a 110-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer has rolled over and shows 08,284 miles (equivalent to 108,284 miles), which the seller states is accurate. The title has been branded Exceeds Mechanical Limits.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Under the hood is the reportedly original 235cid I6, which routes power to the rear wheels through a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. The seller states the radiator should be re-cored or replaced and that there is a slight transmission leak.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The manual drum brakes need to be adjusted because the car pulls to the left under braking, according to the seller.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
A slip for the PPG Off White paint, a 1955 Chevrolet price list, an owner's manual, and a factory AM radio with a speaker will come with the purchase of the car.

The car drives great however I have not taken it on a trip that far away. The car does not have a fan so I check the fluids before I take out each time.
