OVERVIEW
This four-wheel-drive 1985 Ford F-250 XL Styleside pickup is powered by a 6.9-liter diesel V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include a sliding rear window, power steering, cruise control, air conditioning, a Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo, and power front disc brakes. Finished in two-tone blue over a two-tone blue and gray cloth and vinyl interior, this Ford truck comes from the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The body is finished in the reportedly original factory-applied two-tone blue finish, which has been wet-sanded and clear-coated to protect the patina. Features include a chrome front bumper, a chrome grille, a fender-mounted antenna, dual rearview mirrors, side steps, amber clearance lights, a sliding rear window, a long Styleside bed, dual fuel tanks, and stainless steel tailgate and bed rail protectors. A walk-around and test drive video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 16-inch eight-lug wheels with manual locking front hubs is wrapped in 265/75R16 Multi-Mile Wild Country Trail 4SX radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cab is furnished with a two-tone blue and gray cloth and vinyl bench seat surrounded by blue vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual windows, a column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a floor-mounted transfer case shifter, power steering, cruise control, air conditioning, and a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo. The selling dealer states that the headlights must be turned off in order to turn the truck off. This is a custom wiring feature to ensure the driver turns the headlights off when exiting the vehicle.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
An 85-mph speedometer, a 4,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, temperature, and battery are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 72,440 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown. The last reported mileage of 64,990 was logged on the CARFAX report in June 2016.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 6.9-liter diesel V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Ford was factory-equipped with a Twin-Traction Beam independent front suspension, a solid rear drive axle, and part-time four-wheel drive. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The CARFAX report starts in November 1984 and shows an accident-free history with ownership in Washington and Oregon.
