OVERVIEW
This 1960 Ford Galaxie Sunliner convertible was put through a restoration process completed in 2012. It is powered by the reportedly original and rebuilt 352cid V8 backed by a rebuilt Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a Continental kit, factory power steering, an AM radio, a rebuilt front end, and updated power brakes with a dual-circuit master cylinder. Finished in Monte Carlo Red and equipped with a power red vinyl convertible top over a black, white, and red vinyl interior, this Galaxie Sunliner comes from the selling dealer with restoration receipts and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration process completed 12 years ago, the body was refinished in the original color of Monte Carlo Red (code J). Features include chrome bumpers, a fender-mounted antenna, dual rearview mirrors, rocker panel trim, a red vinyl power convertible top, removable polished stainless steel wheel skirts, and a Continental kit with a body-color spare tire cover.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 14-inch black steel wheels with full simulated wire hubcaps is wrapped in whitewall radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with a black, white, and red vinyl front bench seat and a matching rear seat surrounded by red, white, and black door panels and trim. Features include manual windows, factory power steering, a steering column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, and an AM radio. According to the selling dealer, the convertible top, interior, trim, moldings, weatherstripping, window felts, and seals are either new or in excellent condition.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 22,811 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by the reportedly original and rebuilt 352cid V8, which is connected to a rebuilt carburetor and backed by a rebuilt Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission and a rear differential with 2.91:1 gearing. According to the selling dealer, all of the power steering components have been replaced.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The front end has reportedly been completely rebuilt. Braking is provided by rebuilt power drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Restoration receipts will come with the purchase of the vehicle. A walk-around video with a start-up, convertible top demonstration, and interior overview can be seen below.

Beautiful Sunliner. One like it was my first car back in 1968. A few questions: Do you have a video of it driving? Any leaks or weeps or other things to disclose? Lastly, if Continental wheel were to be removed (won’t fit in my garage with it on), does the rear bumper on the kit bolt back into stock appearance? I realize tail pipes would also have to shortened.
