OVERVIEW
This 1964 Buick Skylark is powered by a 300cid V8 backed by a Super Turbine 300 two-speed automatic transmission. Features include mostly original paint, bucket seats, and an AM radio. Finished in Desert Beige over a Saddle vinyl interior, this Skylark comes with the Protect-O-Plate, service records, original wheels and hubcaps, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The reportedly rust-free body is wearing the original factory-applied finish of Desert Beige (Code R). Features include chrome bumpers, wheel opening and rocker moldings, a driver’s rear view mirror, and rear body trim. The seller states that the exterior is finished in the original paint except for the driver side fender. Additionally some chips and scratches are present in the original paint.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of new 17-inch American Racing wheels is wrapped in new 225/50/17 BFGoodrich G Force Comp 2 radial tires with less than 500 miles logged.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with Saddle vinyl front bucket seats and a matching rear seat surrounded by Saddle vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual windows and steering, a column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, and an AM radio.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and a fuel gauge are located ahead of the driver. With 500 miles added during the six month ownership, the odometer reads 79,990 miles which the seller reports to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 300cid V8, with factory aluminum heads, backed by a Super Turbine 300 two-speed automatic transmission. A tune-up was completed in November 2023.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Skylark was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS

When you say minor dents is one of them a dent in the trunk I mentioned and could you send pictures of the other minor dents
No rust issues, the vehicle has minor scratches and minimal dents on the original paint. Driver side fender and lower portion of the drivers door was repainted at some point or another.
This was my Daughters 1st car. It is the exact same car. Were the brake lines ever changed out? Hers failed from rust through after we completed all the work and was totaled in an accident, I still feel responsible and that was 30 plus years ago. In the pictures rust is visible in the wheel wells. It appears to be surface rust. Do you have pictures of the undercarriage? Is there an indentation on the trunk lid right side? It looks like someone closed it hard while pressing down on the lid? Right front fender is a different color, is there an accident history that required a repaint?

had 1964 buick in 1973 it was 8yrs old with 89k ,it has an aluminum block it runs great if all is good ,but the block sometimes warps due to aluminum is softer metal it does not hold up as good as cast iron ,the head gasket will go and it will leak anti freeze is this one not leaking and 100%.
