OVERVIEW
This restored 1965 Pontiac LeMans Sports Coupe is powered by a 5.7-liter Chevrolet V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include power steering and brakes, air conditioning, a functional Ram Air hood, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. Finished in burgundy over a red vinyl and cloth interior, this LeMans comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration, the exterior was finished in burgundy. Features include body-colored bumpers, a functional Ram Air hood, wheel opening and rocker moldings, dual rearview mirrors, etched windows, a power rear antenna, and GTO emblems.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of Pontiac Rally II wheels is wrapped in BFGoodrich radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bucket seats and the rear seats are upholstered in red vinyl with red cloth seating areas. Features include black door panels with manual windows, power steering, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, air conditioning, and a floor-mounted manual transmission shifter.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 11,126 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 5.7-liter Chevrolet V8 and backed by a four-speed manual transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This LeMans was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is power-assisted. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
