OVERVIEW
This 32,746-mile 1991 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 convertible receives power from an unmodified fuel-injected LB9 5.0-liter V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. It comes equipped with an underbody kit, a rear spoiler, color-keyed 16-inch wheels, a Delco audio system, and power front disc brakes. Finished in Bright Red and equipped with a black cloth retractable top over a Gray leather interior, this third-generation Camaro is now offered with service records, the removed original radio, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The Bright Red exterior has fog lamps, quad headlights, hood power bulges, an underbody kit with Z28 badging and scooped rocker panels, bodyside moldings, a black manual soft top with a plastic rear window, an integrated rear spoiler, and dual outlets connected to an aftermarket cat-back exhaust system. EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Aluminum 16-inch five-spoke wheels with color-keyed accents are wrapped in 245/50 Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 tires that were installed in 2013.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The 2+2 cockpit is optioned with Gray Custom Leather bucket seats up front, dual seats in the rear, and matching colors for the door panels, carpeting, and Z28-branded floor mats. Features include power mirrors and windows, power door locks, power steering, cruise control, a Comfortilt steering wheel, intermittent windshield wipers, air conditioning, and a non-original Delco AM/FM/CD stereo. The seller notes that the CD player is not working.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Vehicle vitals are shown on a 110-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The odometer reads 32,746 miles, which lines up with the most recent figure of 31,920 miles recorded on the CARFAX report in 2021.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The LB9 5.0-liter V8 with Tuned-Port Fuel Injection was rated at 205 horsepower when new. Service was performed in January 2023; the CARFAX report shows additional historic maintenance that includes a coolant change at 31,745 miles and the replacement of the alternator and the air conditioning pressure switch in 2020. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping power comes from power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. Camaro Z28s came from the factory with heavy-duty front and rear stabilizer bars and a performance ride-and-handling suspension.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The CARFAX report begins in 1991 and shows accident-free ownership in Kansas, Minnesota, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Illinois. The car will come with service records and the removed original AM/FM/cassette radio. The seller has provided a series of videos that show the exterior, interior, engine bay, and a start-up.
