This 5,400-mile 2010 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS/RS sport coupe is one of 27 “Hit King” editions made in recognition of Major League Baseball player Pete Rose and his record-setting 4,256 career hits. It was sold new by Bush Auto Place in Wilmington, Ohio and is powered by an LS3 6.2-liter V8 paired with a TREMEC TR-6060 six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes HID headlights, 20-inch wheels, heated seats, and a Boston Acoustics audio system. Instrumentation consists of a 180-mph speedometer, a 9,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. Additional gauges in the center stack show the oil temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and transmission temperature. The digital odometer reads 5,400 miles, which lines up with the most recent figure of 5,005 miles recorded on the CARFAX report in 2023.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The LS3 6.2-liter V8 was rated at 426 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted TREMEC TR-6060 six-speed manual transmission.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Stopping power comes from ventilated anti-lock disc brakes with Brembo four-piston calipers. Handling is assisted via a StabiliTrak system.
