This 1984 Ford Mustang GT convertible is a largely-stock, 87k-mile original car equipped with Pony aluminum wheels, a carbureted High-Output 5.0-liter V8 engine, near-new Bridgestone Potenza tires, and factory air conditioning. The car is finished in Black over a red vinyl interior and has a console-shifted 5-speed manual transmission. Located in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, this Fox Body Mustang is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report and factory original build sheet on a clean Pennsylvania title.
The car is painted Black (1C), and the seller states that the exterior is largely free of imperfections. Quad headlamps are featured up front, with integrated factory fog lamps in the lower front air dam and red accent pinstriping around the exterior's perimeter. Badging on the front fenders and the hood identifies the vehicle as a GT 5.0. The power-operated retractable black convertible top is in good original condition and has a glass back window. A polished dual-exhaust system finishes out the rear end.
Factory 16” 5-spoke silver “Pony” aluminum wheels are free of any scrapes or curb rash and are mounted to near-new 225/50 Bridgestone Potenza tires on all four corners.
The interior is trimmed in Canyon Red (code D) throughout, and it is fitted with red carpeting and matching red vinyl bucket seats. Carpeted floor mats with an embroidered Mustang insignia are installed in the footwells. A center console with an armrest and storage is mounted between the seats, while a lockable glove compartment is capped by a crack-free dashboard. Convenience equipment includes factory air conditioning which is working well, as well as an AM/FM/cassette head unit installed in the dash.
Instrumentation is framed by an aftermarket 3-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel and includes an 85-mph speedometer and 6k-rpm tachometer, along with accompanying gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The seller indicates that all gauges work, including the information center with a taillight, washer fluid, brake light, and headlight warnings. A digital clock is present on the center console near the cigarette lighter. The 5-digit mechanical odometer reads 87k miles, which the seller states as original.
The car’s original High-Output 5.0-liter V8 is equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor. The exhaust has been upgraded with an H-pipe and does not have catalytic converters. Recent maintenance includes an oil change. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission with a console-mounted shift lever.

The CARFAX report shows no accidents or damage on record. The first entry on record is the issuance of a title in Wooster, Ohio, in 1990. A new owner was reported in Ohio in August 2017, then again in October 2019. The car recently passed a Pennsylvania state safety inspection. The sale includes documentation to go along with the car, such as an owner guide, warranty information, owner card, and extensive service records.
