3-Owner 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS

This 3-owner 1996 Chevrolet Impala Supersport was first registered to the U.S. State Department in Washington D.C. and has been in New York since 2013. Power is provided by a 5.7-liter V8 with a cold-air intake system and Borla exhaust and is paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The car finished in Dark Green Gray Metallic and rides on custom 20” chrome wheels. This seventh-generation Impala is offered with a clean CARFAX report and a clear New York title in the seller’s name. 

The body is finished in Dark Green Gray Metallic (18) with matching trim and a rear spoiler. Per the seller, the paint is original with the exception of an apparent repair to the passenger quarter panel. A Borla exhaust with dual polished exhaust tips is fitted.

Aftermarket 20” chrome-finished wheels are currently installed, while the factory aluminum set is included with the sale. 

The interior is trimmed in light gray leather buckets with "SS"-embroidered headrests and black carpet that replaced the original gray. Additional features include a center console with an integrated padded armrest, leather-wrapped steering wheel, power windows, cruise control, and a factory stereo with a CD player. The dash is faded due to sun exposure but has no cracks.

Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k tachometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. A new cluster was installed about 1k miles ago by a dealer, at which time the odometer was set to the correct total. Per the seller, 67k miles is the actual mileage.

The 5.7-liter V8 is original to the vehicle and has been upgraded with a cold-air intake system and a performance tune. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission with a limited-slip differential, and the transmission fluid was flushed within the last month. The CARFAX shows a service at Marchese Chevrolet in April 2018 at 65k miles.

Underneath the car is equipped with Bilstein shocks.  

The CARFAX report shows no accidents or damage on record and documents that the car passed a New York safety and emissions inspection in December 2020. This report, the original set of wheels, and two sets of keys and fobs are included with the sale.
