@ZoomClassicCars – Paint about 5 years ago. Truck is all steel and had a dent in the Hood. Owner instructed body shop to have the dent pulled but instead they just filled it in with Bondo. It was fine for first 4 years but over this Winter in cold storage it cracked. Owner doesn't know paint code. ...
Thank you for the quick response. A real shame it wasn’t done right on this cool ‘51. Sorry, one more thing. Is the tailgate fiberglass?
@PSwede – Do you know when it was painted and what caused the hood paint to crack so severely? Do you have the paint code for the red color? Thanks. ...

Engine seemed to run well when I took photos/video of the car. I can't comment on the quality of mountings at the moment but can visit the truck soon to check for you if interested. If the truck does not meet its reserve , you'll need to speak to AH reps to pursue purchase after the auction. Thanks.
Color scheme reminds me of a 1945 Ford F1 I had a lifetime ago. Makes me think about yours. I might try to purchase it. 😊 I like it already. How does the 327 run? Are its mountings done nicely? Thanks Paul Griffin
