@Tmi22 – Audi issued a TSB regarding the turbos in this 4 liter engine and other similar engines with the twin turbos. It stated that there was a design flaw in the oil distribution to the turbo bearings, and how to correct it. Around that same time Audi decided that they would replace anybody's failed turbos at no cost and fix the oil problem and also extend the engine warranty to 110,000 miles. At around 40,000 miles, my turbo bearings failed, and the Audi dealer in Westmont, IL replaced them. We have the service records as well as the extended warranty letter. Basically, the turbos are new, and the engine is warranted for another 60,000 miles. This was the only major complaint regarding this car/engine that I am aware of, and it has been fixed. Thank you for this information and for uploading the extension letter. The extension letter mentions that the extended engine warranty is for 10 years or 120,000 miles, from the vehicle’s original in-service date. Do you by chance know when the vehicle’s original in-service date was?

We had a 4 mph collision on an icy street in February of 2021. The grill got cracked and was replaced.
