This 2002 Mercedes-Benz SLK230 is a two-owner, fully stock supercharged convertible powered by a 2.3-liter Kompressor inline-four paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission. The car was originally sold in Staten Island, New York, and later relocated to New Jersey, where it resided with its second owner for 14 years. Standard equipment includes HID headlamps, power heated seats, and a power-retractable hardtop. This SLK230 is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic and offered with a clean CARFAX report with a clear New Jersey title in the seller’s name.
Brilliant Silver Metallic cloaks the body and matching power-retractable hardtop, and Xenon high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps, heated headlamp washers, and fog lamps are fitted as part of a "K4" option package. A small fender ding and a hairline split on the bottom of the front bumper are present per the seller.
Factory 16” 7-spoke aluminum wheels are wrapped in 225/50 Continental Extreme Contact tires.
The interior is trimmed in black with heated leather buckets, a center stack finished in textured aluminum, and power convenience options such as power windows and locks, cruise control, and an automatic climate control system. The audio system is a factory head unit with a trunk-mounted 6-disc CD changer.
A trio of white-faced gauges includes a 160-mph speedometer, 7k tachometer, and those for coolant temperature and fuel level. An exterior thermometer and digital clock are also fitted. The digital odometer reads approximately 73k original miles.
Power is provided by the original and unmodified 2.3-liter supercharged Kompressor inline-four, which was factory-rated at 192-hp and 200 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission with Touch-shift.
The CARFAX report shows no record of accidents or damage and documents that the car passed a New Jersey emissions inspection in August 2019. This report is included with the sale, along with the owner’s manual, a windscreen, and trunk cargo netting.
