I’m flexible , because of yoga 😎🇺🇸
@Jaybird69 – Do you offer an alternative method of transportation to the buyer instead of using Auton Hunter? ...
Yes I believe so, I’ve had my nephew drive numerous times for me pulling an assortment of trailers. He’s in San Antonio , working full time, and has flexible work hours. It might well work. Fly him here, rent a truck and trailer for a one way trip, fly him home. The cost to do so depends on the logistics , buyer would need to assure he had a ride to an international airport, which can all be accommodated . Good bidding !

Last day of this auction on my 1969 Firebird 400. I’m missing this iconic muscle car made in America already! If you’re flying in to get the car, Spokane international airport is an hour away. If you are picking up the car and engine, I do have a forklift to assist, and the stand goes with the original engine as well. The original logo for Pontiac , was the chief of the Pontiac Indian tribe in Pontiac Michigan . That has changed over the years, as GM consolidated all brands under their umbrella. Interesting history on Pontiac, the Firebird was the classic “ American Muscle Car” they produced at the Van Nuys California plant. There were I believe 2- manufacturing plants utilized to build this model. Happy bidding !
For the record , Autohunter suggested a local photographer take the photos of this fine Firebird, which is what we did . Only the photos of the original engine , on its stand , and the 2- videos were taken by me. Happy to see the high interest level of this 55 year old American muscle car , It’s a classic, built by Pontiac, before much GM influence in their consolidation efforts took place! It’s doubtful one could find a totally stock 1969 Firebird, they were so easy to tweak up a bit! The next owner will have a blast driving , and the thumbs up from folks who see it , is almost embarrassing! Almost
BID: $30,000
The 400 in this Firebird is built with aftermarket performance products. The 350 is stock I believe. The 400 has pop up /domed pistons, 12 to 1 ratio, hooker headers, eldebrook aluminum high rise intake manifold, HEI , Mallory , accell , 3/4 race cam, solid lifters, and we upgraded to a holly sniper fire III fuel injection . The engine driven radiator fan was removed, and 3- electric fans were added to improve cooling, and increase HP. This was done when an aluminum 4 quart radiator was added. All fluids are synthetic , performance grade. A high output alternator (chrome )was added , to compensate for the 3- electrical fans, and to enhance the look of the engine. The 3- speed gear selector on the floor, was rebuilt - bushings/cables by Cars Remember When in Littleton Colorado , and an oil change performed, along with new spark plugs, which they recommended.
@Casey73 – Is it numbers matching? (Engine / transmission / differential, etc) Is it power or manual top? Disc or drum brakes? (All around?) Column or console shifter? Any aftermarket add-ons? Original mileage / mileage since rebuilt? ...
The 350 engine in the description, and shown in the picture is the original # matching engine. I was told the TH400 was original , and had been rebuilt at some point. The rear post traction differential was also rebuilt . Aftermarket nitrous oxide, battery relocated to trunk, assume the 5 digit odometer has turned. I’ve put in maybe 1000-3000 miles since the majority of the work was done . I moved it today, fired right up like it always has. Solid dry state Firebird! Manual top, 4 wheel power assisted drum brakes.
Looks like non-numbers matching, manual top, drum brakes all around, console shift - please correct any I am wrong about? Any aftermarket add-ons? Original mileage / mileage since rebuilt?

@Marvinmac – I owned this car from 1976-79. I added the aftermarket side mirrors and painted the orange trim on the grilles. Of course It still had the original 350 And it did have power assisted 4 wheel drum brakes ...
Always interesting to learn more about the history of the car. Thanks for sharing !

@Bigblockfan – Transmission line was leaking, pretty sure that’s been repaired. The pan/rear main gaskets were replaced when the mechanical work was performed. A high capacity oil pump was installed as well. If there is any leaks remaining, they are very minor. I have more undercarriage pictures I took when the line was repaired. Let me get those uploaded. I’m not clear on what you mean by painting over undercoat ? What specific area are you seeing ? ...
Looks like when the trim rings were taken off for paint preparation, a tad of overspray seeped through the masking . Easy touch up.
