Nice Camaro. Don't know if it'll bring the $60K u have in it though. Grew up in the 70's so I love these cars. Had a formula in '78. Loved that car.

Thanks for your interest. When I purchased this car from the original owner in 2021 for 6,000., I too never anticipated spending that much on the restoration. Although the exterior body had no rust or corrosion, and the car ran well, the interior and floor pans were very rough. Once professional restoration and disassembly began, many issues were uncovered requiring myriad unanticipated parts and tedious labor. The car was disassembled (frame in half), by Mike McGarvey (McGarveys Inc.) in Tallahassee. Mechanical repairs were also discovered due to the car being stored in an unattached garage for a long period. I have every receipt for the parts, labor and bill of sale, too numerous to send. There is a picture of the receipts laid out in the gallery. The car required many unexpected parts such as total dash instrument replacement, parts and switches, windshield and antenna, windshield wiper motor, complete wiring harness for car and interior lighting and wiring to name a few. Please let me know if you would like to contact Mike McGarvey by phone and he will substantiate the work he did. I also have receipts for mechanical repairs such as new radiator, thermostat, rear end diff. rebuild, and carburetor rebuild. I am selling this very nice Camaro at a loss due to knee problems and storage space.
Can you send documents showing $60,000 in restoration? Reading the description and viewing the photos I can’t see that kind of money invested
BID: $16,500
Good morning viewers. I meant to clarify that the T-tops are what came on the Z when I bought it in 2021. I assumed that they were original. They fit well and are functional. They have tinted glass and are in good condition. The car runs and drives very well with cold new retro air-conditioning conversion that fits all factory AC vents and fittings. Retro stereo sounds great with all new speakers. Car has all new interior lighting in front floor areas. Interior is beautiful, even smells new. Feel free to reach out with other questions or comments.
@Davescars – Is the Hood hooked up Electricly to work the air Induction hood? and do you have the air induction Air cleaner? and when did you change the engine to the 145 horse 305? Hood sticker pic say's it had the 4.4 Litre wich would be a 267 v8 with 115 horse was factory engine, but listing says it's a 305CI?? Last Question, Are they the Hurst T-tops?? They are not the factory OEM ones?? Would be interested in bidding on car. Thanks, let me know. Dave. ...
Hi and thanks for your interest. I do not have the parts to make the air induction flap and system function. Perhaps they could be ordered at NPD or Camaro Central. I did not change the engine to athe current 305 with headers. That was done by the previous owner before I bought the car from her in 2021. The hood sticker is the result of the car being in a minor front end collision many years ago whereas a part was used from a 4.4 car. It came new with a 350 I was told by the original owner. I'm sure as to why they replaced it with a 305. The horsepower is significantly increased by the edelbrock headers and brand new performance exhaust system. The car has plenty of power.

Thank you for your bid on my Z-28. I am the third owner of this totally restored example of the last 2nd generation Camaro. I bought it from the original owner 3.5 years ago and had it completely restored by Mike McGarvey , a longtime vintage car restoration expert. It was quite a project and I watched it in the many steps over an 8-month period. I have the complete history and all receipts/paperwork on repairs and restoration. Mike did a meticulous and beautiful job on this car down to the smallest details. Please reach out to me with any further questions you may have, and I'll check comments often and respond. Thanks again for your interest. Fun fact: This car was the local Chevrolet Dealers managers car for several months before being sold to the original owner as a dealer demo.
