This 2002 Porsche Boxster convertible is a one-owner vehicle with extensive service records that document replacement of the water pump, thermostat, and battery within the last three years. The car was originally sold in White Plains, New York, and is powered by a 2.7-liter flat-six paired with a 6-speed manual transaxle. This Meridian Metallic over black leather Boxster is offered with a clean CARFAX report, the window sticker, extensive service records, extra keys, and a clean New Jersey title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in Meridian Metallic and came from the factory with a power-operated black cloth convertible top and the Sport package, which added a single center-outlet exhaust. Some touch-up work on the bumper and a small dimple on the trunk lid is reported.
Factory 17” wheels wearing colored Porsche crests are wrapped in tires of unknown age but with good tread life remaining per the seller. Factory equipment includes a stability-control system and anti-lock disc brakes with 4-piston calipers.
The interior is trimmed in black leather with matching carpeting and floor mats with "Porsche" embroidery. Other features include a center console, automatic climate control, power windows, cruise control, and a HiFi AM/FM/CD audio system.
Instrumentation includes a central 8k tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer reads just under 80k miles, which are reported to be original to the vehicle.
The factory 2.7-liter flat-six was factory-rated at 217-hp and 192-fl lbs when new, and mated to a 6-speed manual transaxle. According to the CARFAX report, the front and rear brakes were changed in October 2017, the air conditioning was recharged in June 2018, the water pump, thermostat, and battery were replaced in November 2019, and an oil change was performed in December 2020.
The CARFAX report shows no accidents or damage on record and will be included with the car, along with extra keys, the owner’s manual, and the original window sticker.

Please confirm when able, unless it is a debadged S model? Also, any idea whether the IMS bearing has been taken care of or not? Thanks much, GLWA ...
It does show 5 speed in the interior pictures, as it should. I figured it will need IMS and clutch redone at same time by new owner, so buyer should budget for that.
