This 1980 Chevrolet Corvette is a 63k-mile example powered by a 350ci L48 V8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Upgrades include an Edelbrock 600 CFM carburetor with electric choke, Edelbrock intake, K&N air filter, chrome valve covers, new battery, and more. Reupholstered bucket seats, modernized air conditioning, and a modern stereo system can be found inside the cabin. The car spent time in long-term storage in Yonkers, New York, before undergoing the mechanical refurbishment. Finished in white over a burgundy vinyl, this C3 is now offered with a clear New York title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in white and features removable glass T-top roof panels, signature C3 pop-up headlights, vented front fenders, a decklid spoiler, and a dual exhaust system with powder coated tips. New weather stripping for the T-top has been installed.
Factory 15” aluminum wheels are wrapped in Dunlop Radial G/T Qualifier raised-white-letter tires. The seller indicates that the braking system has been overhauled with new calipers, pads, and brake lines.
The interior is trimmed in reupholstered burgundy vinyl with custom embroidery in the backrests, color-matching door panels and carpet, and custom floor mats. Convenience equipment includes air conditioning with a new compressor and running on R134a refrigerant, power locks and windows, upgraded LED lighting, and a modern Pioneer head unit with Bluetooth connectivity wired to dash speakers and a rear sound bar.
Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer, a 7k tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges in the center stack for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The 5-digit odometer shows just over 63k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added under current ownership. Mileage is accurate per the seller.
The L48 350ci V8 was factory-rated at 190 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque when new. It has been upgraded with an Edelbrock Performer Series 600 CFM carburetor with an electric choke, an Edelbrock intake, K&N filters, and chrome valve covers. The heater core has been replaced, as has the master cylinder and battery with a new ground cable. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 3-speed automatic transmission with a console-mounted shift lever. The original blue valve covers will go with the car.
Additional photos showing the condition of the underside are available in the gallery.

@don7778 – Looks like a nice C3. Any accident history? Rust? Bondo? Flood? Is the car dependable and would you have any reservations about a 2000 mile road trip? I have bought several cars sight unseen and been dissapointed more than once. It's 40+ years old so I don't expect it to be new. Thanks. Don ...
Hi Don7778, it is a nice driver, I purchased it a few years ago intending to give it to my son, I went through the entire car as it sat for years in Yonkers, NY. It looks to be an original driver quality. It is not perfect as it was driven and not a trailer queen. I like the way it looks and drives. I went through great pains to make it as dependable and safe as possible, I even changed the dashboard lights to LED so they are much brighter for night driving. I put the car on a lift and checked and it looked really good. So to answer your question, I believe it would make the drive. I would even get the oil changed this week just in case. Brakes, battery, heater core, intake, carb were all done.
