The Pontiac has has at least one prior owner. It was purchased by the owner as a project vehicle, and is originally from the East Coast.
There was at least one prior owner of the Pontiac. The present owner purchased the wagon as a project vehicle. It's originally from the East Coast.
Sorry...just saw you've already answered a couple of my Q's.
1)Do you have info on history of car - where originally sold, where lived, how many owners etc. 2)Did current owner do all the 2014 work? 3) When was the car repainted, and do you have any paperwork that? Thank you.
BID: $20,000
This car was originally a 6 cylinder model an was replaced with an 8 cylinder engine The replacement engine had the rings , rod bearings, and the water pump replaced. The main bearings were in good shape at the time work was done and were not replaced. Also the transmission was rebuilt, the clutch was replaced, and the rear axle was upgraded to allow for modern driving speeds on the freeway. Some of the interior work was done by Award Interiors of Sacramento, CA. Some interior work was done under prior ownership. The paintwork was done by Tim's Auto of Sacramento, CA. The exterior wood work was done by Chris Messano of Southern California and the owner did the varnishing on the exterior wood trim. The owner does not have any receipts, but the condition of the car tells a lot.
I will get this information from the owner.
Was the engine changed during the 2014 resto? Also who did the resto and are the records for it available? Thank you.
