This 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova SS restomod has been in the seller’s family since new and is the recipient of a custom aesthetic and mechanical refurbishment. Power is provided by a new, blueprinted Stroker 383ci V8 from Summit Racing with push-button ignition, headers with electric cutouts, and a Griffin aluminum radiator, and it is paired with a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission with a narrowed 9" positraction rear end with 3.50 gears. Additional features include rack-and-pinion steering, a TCI subframe, 4-link rear suspension, Bear's Pro Street axles, Foose wheels, Vintage air, Pioneer sound, and much more. Finished in two-tone Atomic Orange and silver over a highly customized interior, this Nova SS is now offered with a clear California title in the seller’s name.
A two-tone scheme of Corvette Atomic Orange over silver was professionally applied using PPG 2-stage paint in 2017. In addition to the chrome trim and badges, other features consist of a 2" cowl steel hood, shaved door handles recessed filler cap, and dual exhaust.
Staggered-width 17" front and 18" rear Foose wheels are wrapped in 205/75 and 275/40 Toyo tires, respectively. Braking is managed by power 4-wheel discs with cross-drilled and slotted rotors, while handling has been upgraded with rack-and-pinion steering with 2" drop spindles.
The cabin has undergone extensive customization to include 4-bucket seating with a full-length center console and tan and orange leather upholstery with matching headliner and door cards. Amenities consist of push-button ignition, Vintage heat and air conditioning, a double din Pioneer AM/FM/CD/DVD head unit with speakers in the kick panels, and embroidered floor mats.
An aftermarket billet 3-spoke steering wheel with tilt frames new white-faced AutoMeter gauges consisting of a 150-mph speedometer and 10k tachometer. The digital odometer shows approximately 5k miles driven since the restoration. True chassis mileage is unknown.
The blueprinted 383ci stroker V8 is from Summit Racing and is reported to have approximately 100 miles on it since installation in February 2021. Performance enhancements include ceramic-coated headers with electric cutouts, a Griffin aluminum radiator, and a combination of billet aluminum components and stainless-steel braided cooling lines. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a replacement Tremec 5-speed manual transmission and a narrowed 9" Ford rear end with positraction, 31-spline rear axles, and 3.50:1 gearing installed 18 months ago.
A TCI complete subframe was added, along with a 4-link rear and Flowmaster Hushpower mufflers with resonators. Additional photos showing the underside are available in the gallery and two short videos are available below.

I don't know what their commission is and I don't know where to go either. I guess you could call them. I know they have to get paid somehow but know how. If you end up with the Car I'll help you out with the sales tax.
Hey Chuck. If I recall there is a 6% commission ADDED to the FINAL and winning bidders purchase price, for Autohunter’s listing fee. Is that correct? I just wanted to be certain as this site is new to me. Whoever wins the bid, I hope your happy and get into your new home! Thanks and good luck to you Chuck!
66 Nova with a 67 front group and the badge on the back is painted with a airbrush .
That is a 1967 Nova I have a 66 nova SS. Head lights are different. And the rear trunk badge is big. Not small.
Hello fatboy, thanks for the compliments on my car! I built this car with love and sweat for sure. It's absolutely a alsome and fun car to drive!
BID: $55,000
My only wish is that i bought 2 cars and built 2 more garages in the last month. I love this car
Alan, this Nova can be driven anywhere you want but I don't want to have drive my car to Pleasanton. I am talking to three other guys that live one in Vegas and one in Indiana and one in Washington and Florida. I really don't want to drive the Nova to Pleasanton. I'm am in the process of buying a new house and it is the ONLY reason why I'm even saleing my car. It's been in my family for over 50 years and I've got over $100,000Invested in this car. The motor is new, and it has a new clutch, pressure plate and everything else in the drive train the motor has 3yrs unlimited miles warranty! The car is worth much more! The only thing I would want to do is replace the carpet and that's all!! If you have any other questions feel free to ask me. Thanks Chuck
BID: $50,000
The cost for transportation would be very minimal that far! My brother had a Corvette shipped out to Sacramento California from New York and it was $1700. In a in closed trailer and If was to to drive it over I would have to be paid in full first, you should understand that?
Alan, there's nothing wrong with the Car, I wouldn't be afraid to drive it to Florida and back! All except for a oil change LOL. This is a great car with all the goodies +! Anything else?
Hi Chuck. Can the car be driven to Pleasanton without any issues? Can u deliver to Pleasanton for a fee? Love to have this car but need to consider delivery/shipping. If it can be delivered/driven to Pleasanton it would take a huge load of my shoulders. Please LMK. Thanks again...... Alan
