This 1936 Ford 4-door is a fully-restored sedan with suicide rear doors powered by a 350ci V8 paired with an automatic transmission. It has been outfitted with a vintage air conditioning system, upgraded SSBC brake calipers, an Edelbrock carburetor, a front runner serpentine belt system, a 17-gallon polyethylene fuel tank, and a custom microfiber interior. Finished in BMW Jet Black over tan, this Ford has been part of the seller's collection for 17 years and is now offered with a clear Tennessee title in his name.
This sedan was professionally resprayed in non-metallic BMW Jet Black paint as part of a full restoration that was completed in 2012. The 4-door body has suicide rear doors and full-length running boards on each side. The front and rear bumpers, hood trim, and door handles are chrome-finished, and there is a dual polished exhaust system exiting at the rear. Some paint imperfections and minor road rash are noted by the seller.
Polished-aluminum 5-spoke 15” Borbet wheels are wrapped in Michelin touring tires that were installed in 2011. Steering is handled by a GM power steering setup with remote fill, and the brakes have been upgraded with a hydro-boosted SSBC system and slotted rotors up front. The car rides on a custom suspension with a split wishbone-style front end and a lowered rear with 2" lowering blocks.
The interior is trimmed in custom two-tone tan microfiber with V8 embroidery in the backrests, along with matching door panels and carpet. The dash is painted Jet Black to match the body, and the steering column is from a Chevrolet S-10 pickup. A Vintage air conditioning system has been added, and the interior has been insulated and sound-deadened. Convenience equipment includes a stereo and cruise control, though the cruise control is not currently functioning. The seller indicates that the driver seat is set back 2" from its original location.
Instrumentation is framed by a 3-spoke banjo-style steering wheel with a chrome V8-labeled center horn and consists of aftermarket white-faced gauges with a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k tachometer, an analog clock, and additional gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The 6-digit mechanical odometer reads 13k miles and reflects mileage since the restoration was completed in 2012. True mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The crate 350ci V8 features a steel crankshaft and has been rated at 290 horsepower per the seller. It was upgraded with a 600-CFM Edelbrock carburetor, a 3-core Bryce Thomas aluminum radiator, a front runner serpentine belt system, a 17-gallon polyethylene fuel tank, and an auxiliary fan for optimal cooling. The engine and transmission mounts and rear springs are all Chassis Engineering components. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 2004R automatic transmission with overdrive and a Ford 9" rear end with 3.55 gears.

I am the owner of this car I also built the car . I have pictures of the build to go with the car. It will show you the car the day I bought it home to the build of the car into a street rod. This car was a very nice antique car that blew the flathead I then decided to street rod the car. The car has very little bondo in the car less then a quart with most of that in the lower front of the rear fenders I welded in new metal and skim coated that area . The area were the spare tire carrier was bolted on is patch with metal and can be removed to put on spare tire if wanted . This car is flat and shows it very well with a deep paint that the picture really do not show . This car drives well up to 70 then it has a slight vibration that goes away . The car steers very easy at speed . The speedometer is off by 4 mph if your doing 55 your doing 59 this is checked with radar gun by my local police department. You are looking at a very nice driver car you could never build this car for what I'm asking bid with confidence that this car is not going to be like every car at the show in the 14 years I own it I never seen a flat black fourdoor at the street rod nationals . If you want to be different here is the car for you. This car has only broke down on me one time since I built it and that was a fuel pump. This car could be driven home if you fly in I will pick you up and let you take home.
