No Reserve: 2010 BMW 128i Convertible

This 2010 BMW 128i convertible is an all-original example with 65k miles since new and powered by a 3.0-liter inline-6 paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a dual-zone automatic climate control system, upgraded alloy wheels, and push-button start. Recent work included the installation of a new air conditioning evaporator and a system recharge. Finished in blue over tan leather, this E82 128i is now offered with a CARFAX report and a clear Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in its original blue exterior with a black, power-operated convertible top. Features include signature kidney grilles up front, fender-mounted side markers, a dual polished exhaust at the left rear, automatic headlamps with daytime running lights, and a high-mount brake light integrated into the trunk lid.

Aftermarket 17" Kudo Racing alloy wheels are wrapped in Sumitomo tires of unknown age. Handling is managed by 4-wheel disc brakes with an anti-lock system, electronic stability control, and power steering.

The interior is fitted with heated tan leather bucket seats with matching door panels, a center console, and carpeting. Amenities include a factory AM/FM/CD head unit with steering wheel controls and wired to six speakers, one-touch windows, keyless entry, power mirrors, push-button start/stop, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. 

Instrumentation is framed by a leather-wrapped 3-spoke steering wheel and consists of a 160-mph speedometer, 8k tachometer, a fuel gauge, and a multi-function digital display. The digital odometer reads approximately 65k original miles.

The 3.0-liter DOHC inline-6 has VANOS variable-valve timing and was factory-rated at 230 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque when new. The seller indicates that the air conditioning system has recently been serviced. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The CARFAX reports documents a history of three owners and registration in New Jersey and Arizona. It also shows left front end damage due to accidents in October 2012 and March 2013, and an August 2019 open recall for blower motor wiring. Work performed in June 2020 included a front brake job and installation of new tires, and the aforementioned air conditioning service, an oil pan gasket replacement, and an oil and filter change that took place in July 2020.
