This 1953 Cadillac 2-Door Coupe deVille is a documented and restored 73k-mile example powered by a 331ci V8 rebuilt in 2017 paired with a 3-speed Hydramatic transmission refreshed in 2016. The car was first sold in Galveston, Texas on May 10, 1953, and acquired by the seller two years ago. Upgrades include an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, Pertronix ignition, an aftermarket alternator, an auxiliary electric fan with a thermostat, and an aftermarket Wonderbar radio with Bluetooth connectivity. Other equipment consists of power steering, brakes, and windows, a new water pump, and new Coker tires. Finished in Emerald Green with a Light Green roof over a refinished interior, this deVille is now offered with the original purchase invoice and a clear Texas title in the seller’s name.
The body was repainted in two-tone Emerald Green and Light Green within the past 10 years and is reported to show well. Brightwork is also reported to be in good condition, aside from some minor bubbling of the chrome on the driver-side window frame and a spot of pitting on the front bumper.
Factory 15” steel wheels with full chrome covers are wrapped in new Coker wide whitewall radial tires. The car is equipped with power steering and power brakes.
The interior was refurbished approximately 10 years ago and trimmed in two-tone vinyl and cloth with matching door panels and custom-embroidered Coupe deVille floor mats. Amenities include power windows and a Wonderbar AM/FM radio with Bluetooth connectivity wired to front and rear 9" speakers. The trunk is fully carpeted and contains a recessed location for the factory spare tire and associated jack equipment.
Instrumentation consists of a 110-mph speedometer, gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature, aftermarket gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage, and an analog clock. The 5-digit odometer shows approximately 73k miles, which the seller reports are original per title and mileage data.
The 331ci OHV V8 was rebuilt in 2017 and is fitted with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, a Pertronix ignition system, an aftermarket alternator, an auxiliary electric fan with thermostat, and a new water pump. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 3-speed Hydramatic transmission that was overhauled in 2016.

The sale includes a copy of the original invoice for the car showing a $5,379 purchase price.
