@Flightning, yes, it can cruise at 70mph. Top speed on this Mark 2 is approximately 80 mph.
This TD can not Cruise at the 70MPH SPEED LIMIT, correct?
With a little over an hour left in the auction- I’ve lowered the reserve. We’re not there as of yet, but with the interest I’ve had in this fully restored TD, it might find a new home today. Best of luck if you’re considering a bid.
Good morning fellow Mg enthusiasts. With the auction coming to a close in 4 hours, please let me know if there are additional questions. Thank you for a great week and the continued bids. Hopefully this fine example will find a new home today.
BID: $11,000
@Chookiesmith- definitely an upgrade on a synchronized transmission and front disk brakes, but as long as you shift to 1st when stopped, not an issue. Brakes are factory spec and do the job. I don’t have the parts to upgrade. As far as a reserve- yes, it has a reserve. For the quality of the car, I’ve kept it low. I hope to see it sell to a collector, or Mg enthusiast.
I bought the identical car off this site a year ago. The only two things needed is a synchronized transmission and a front disc brake kit. You wouldn't have any laying around? I am sure this TD will sell well by last minute bidders. Is there a reserve? I don not see one, but have to ask.
Good afternoon. The car does not include side curtains. They are readily available at Moss motors, eBay , among other suppliers. I’ve personally never driven it in the rain- but the wipers do function.
Are there side panels for unexpected showers?
BID: $10,500
Good afternoon. Thank you for the continued bids. I’ve owned several TD’s over the years, and this one is a definite standout. Rotisserie restoration with no noticeable filler anywhere. Stunning engine bay, with all gauges functioning as they should. Paint is nearly perfect, including under the wheel wells. Connelly leather sets off the interior, along with new carpet and canvas top. Assuming it sells, the new owner will be very pleased.
