Hi there. The Continental kit is a facade. It is something that I added to the car as an aftermarket item to make the car look sexier. :-) I hope I've succeeded. There is no real spare tire inside the Continental kit. The real spare tire is offset at about a 30° angle inside the trunk itself. That's the way the cars came from the factory. So to answer your question, yes you could move it closer to the trunk, but you would have to do that mechanically. You would have to adjust it manually. I hope this answers your question. Also for anyone who wants the totally original look without the Continental kit, it would take about 2 hours and a little bit of muscle force, and the whole thing can be removed leaving the original car design.
does the spare wheel move forward closer to the trunk
@Haligonadian123 – Honestly, I do not know, but you can buy an air conditioning unit for that car from ebay, no problem. Then find a local mechanic or yourself to put it in. Get a quote from them as to what that would cost. Because I live in Nova Scotia Canada, I never worried much about air conditioning. Lol. I just roll the windows and open the floor vents in summer. :-) I think there are various air conditioning units which would work just fine with that car, and they are all at different prices. ...
If you're the highest bidder and you bid at least $31,500., I will install the AC , before shipping it to you.
@TPack12 – How much does it cost to put in A/C?? ...

@mikeh – Do you have a soft top with this bird? ...
No, just hard top only, but it is of course removable, which I do every summer. :-)

@MoleEddie – Nova Scotia what or how much would it cost to ship to Southern NJ. First things first. ...
I am not sure, but you can call any reputable Auto Transit company, tell them the car is in Halifax Nova Scotia Canada, give them your address, and they will quote you a price. If you're bringing a car into the US, there is some paperwork, with EPA, and Border services, however if the car is more than 25 years old, the paperwork is fairly simple.Hope this helps. :-)

Hi folks, Welcome to my auction. Good luck bidding. :-) This beautiful car has been with me since 2017. It was restored in British Columbia Canada, and somewhat in Alberta Canada. When I bought it, I shipped it all the way to the East Coast because I didn't want to put any miles on it. As you can see I dropped a beautiful professionally rebuilt 292 engine into this beauty, as well as having the entire transmission inspected and reconditioned. Even the torque converter blades were filed. It's very hard for me to let it go, but my wife says you have a corvette, and that's enough. So good luck to everyone, and let the games begin. Also feel free to ask me any questions that come to mind. I'm an open book with this car.
