This 1992 Land Rover Defender 90 TDi is a right-hand drive example that has undergone a refurbishment since its arrival in the U.S. in 2017. Work consisted of a repaint, an interior upgrade with new upholstery and audio, LED lighting, and exterior accessories such as a winch, raised-air intake, roof rack, new tires, and more. Power is delivered by a 2.5-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and 2-speed transfer case. Finished in Dark Red Metallic over a saddle leather interior, this Defender is now offered with a CARFAX report and a clear Michigan title.
The body received a professional respray in Dark Red Metallic, which is contrasted by black bumpers, grille surround, mirrors, running boards, and more. Exterior accessories consist of a custom winch bumper with a Smittybilt XLS winch, and integrated auxiliary LED lighting, rock sliders, raised-air intake, roof rack, and diamond plate protection fitted to the wing top, sills, and rear corners. All factory lighting has been upgraded to LED, and the truck is equipped with a 40" LED lightbar.
Factory 16” steel wheels have been painted black and are wrapped in new 235/85 Cooper Discoverer STT 235/85. A swing-away carrier with a matching full-size spare is mounted in the rear, and a Hi-Lift jack is affixed to the roof rack.
Saddle leather upholstery covers the front buckets and rear folding, side-facing jump seats, as well as the door panels and headliner, and the flooring is protected by rubber mats. Amenities include LED lighting, an in-dash Pioneer AM/FM/CD head unit with flip-out screen and back-up camera, and a separate rear DVD entertainment system.
Instrumentation includes a 110-mph speedometer and factory gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and voltage. The 6-digit mechanical odometer shows just over 194k miles, and the total is reported to be accurate.
